Governor João Azevêdo was in São Paulo this Thursday night, when he signed the contract for the construction of the Tauá Resort in João Pessoa, which will be installed in the Cabo Branco Tourist Hub. With an expected investment of approximately R$ 500 million, the new resort will have 1,120 beds and will generate 2,000 jobs during the construction period and 1,000 jobs when in operation.
The resort will be built in an area of 300 thousand m², with 80 thousand m² of green area. The project foresees eight restaurants with a varied cuisine and a space specially dedicated to regional cuisine, five bars and two lounges, a spa with an indoor pool, a gym, a convention center and an area for events.
Still on the new resort, it will have seven pools, including one dedicated to children. Guests will also have entertainment spaces, which include a children’s club, cinema, bowling, theater and other leisure activities; and a socializing and relaxing area located next to the main pool and with a typical Northeastern square, with small shops, cafes, kiosks and presentations. The inauguration of the new resort of Polo Turístico Cabo Branco is scheduled for New Year’s Eve 2026.
