Governor João Azevêdo authorized, at the João Pessoa Convention Center, the launch of the third public call for new lots for the Cabo Branco Tourist Pole, which should result in initial investments in the order of R$ 379.7 million and generate more than 1,100 direct jobs in its construction phase.
New lots for the Cabo Branco Tourist Pole – The new notice includes two lots for two hotels and resorts, one with an area of 4.5 hectares and the other with an area of 3.3 hectares, which will expand by another 1,328 beds in the State and generate more than 2,500 direct jobs. A lot will also be released for the commerce and services sector, where an open-air mall should be built over an area of 16.5 hectares. The companies will have 45 days to present the projects.
In the Tourist Complex, the construction works for the Ocean Palace Jampa Eco Beach Resort, the Amado Bio & Spa Hotel and the Surf World Park – three resorts and a water park – should start this year, which will inject about R$ 600 million in the state economy in its construction phase and initially generate more than 4,600 direct and indirect jobs.
